Giacomo d'Orlando (1990) is a self-taught documentary photographer born and currently based in Italy.
He moved his first steps in the photography industry in 2011, working as advertising photographer in a renowned studio in his born town, Verona.
After four years of experience, collaborating mainly with International brands in the food and interior design industry, he decided to change path following his greatest passion: photojournalism.
From 2015 to 2017 he moved to Nepal, in the first instance, and later to Peru collaborating with NGO, covering social issues.
From 2018 to 2020 he lived in Australia and then in New Zealand working on environmental issues related to climate change.
Today’s d’Orlando commitment is focus on environmental studies related to how climate change is shaping our planet and how mankind is reacting to these increasing challenges which are affecting our life.
